After the tragedy that took place on Friday, December 14, the students of Sandy Hook Elementary need their spirits’ raised. Here is something all MTHS students can do to help and show their support.

The students of Sandy Hook Elementary will no longer be attending school in the same building. When the children return from winter break, they will attend school in a new building. The school’s PTA members wish for the students to return to school surrounded by a winter wonderland.

Furthermore, the PTA’s goal is for the entire school to be decorated in unique snowflake decorations. The PTA will be accepting handmade snowflakes now through January 12. Monetary donations are also being accepted to help support the students.

The mailing address for donations is: 60 Connolly Parkway, Building 12, Suite 103 Hamden, CT, 06514.

The PTA encourages everyone to be creative with their snowflakes. The students deserve to come back to a beautiful school to help cheer them up.

During times like these, it is important for everyone to show their respect. Gather your friends and make eye-catching snowflakes for these students.
